Élan Advising is a higher education and career consulting company that caters exclusively to young people: high school students, college students and recent grads. Élan Advising was founded on the belief that every young person can easily achieve success and fulfillment in school and in life, so long as they are given the tools to be Happy and Productive!
For our high school student-clients: we are the first and only company to incorporate Academic Success Coaching℠(our unique, trademarked brand of academics-centered Life Coaching) for the student’s personal well-being and growth, and College Admissions Consulting to clarify the college applications process.
We hope to bring some organization and clarity to the college admissions process without losing sight of the student’s individuality and independence. The college applications process is a student's own, unique journey, one that should offer lessons that the student can take with them to college and beyond.
In our view, practical life skills, the ability to work hard and emotional intelligence will carry a person much farther in life than simply the prestige of attending an Ivy League school (though Ivies can be pretty awesome if they're the right fit!). Happy students are productive students, and I aim to help students achieve a stress-free, successful high school career in the hopes that they acquire the skills to live a stress-free, successful life.
